Gulf State Park's two miles of beaches greet you with plenty of white sun-kissed sand, surging surf, seagulls and sea shells, but there is more than sand and surf to sink your toes into. Inside Gulf State Park there is a championship golf course, new beach pavilion, rental cottages, tennis courts, camp sites, hiking trails, Zip Line, and a fishing pier that is 20-feet wide and extends 1,512 feet into the Gulf. This and much more make Gulf State Park the perfect in-state vacation or out-of-state adventure.

This was an amazing area Very clean. Plenty of parking even with construction happening nearby. It is all about the beach at this park. The beach goes on forever! They have initiative going to restore the dunes so access requires you to walk around the dunes. This easy dince theg have to access areas on each side of the pier.

Great park. The sites are very large and paved, we were even able to stay hitched up. Definitely coming back! The park is clean. Pool is large and relaxing. Close to the beach. All around a great place to stay!

We made a visit to the beach at Gulf State Park during the off-season in October and it was beautiful. Powder fine sand and crystal clear waters. Sadly, due to the oil spill a few years ago, we had tiny pieces of tar on our feet when we left the water. Still a must see and a great place for... More

I bike here every time I'm in town . It's easy to her to in Orange Beach or from Gulf Shores. Last time read two weeks ago and I saw a bald eagle and her little one and a female alligator with all her babies. Her nick name is lefty. She is missing part of her right foot. Great place... More

Great park!! RV sites have lots of room. So much to do inside park. Great bike trails. Pool, tennis courts, nightly concerts and weekly movies. Water side lots are well cleared so you can walk to edge of water and fish. We had a family fish fry and there was plenty parking at our site. On the down side everyone... More

This park was beautiful, well kept, things to see everywhere you go! We rode our bikes around the whole park and did not get bored for 1 second! We mapped it out and did about 16 miles and it was a blast! We saw a live alligator basking in the sun, a tortoise eating grass and the rock walls for... More
