Relaxing adventure in nature

Had a blast kayaking in the lake with our kids! Wonderful family activity in a peaceful, gorgeous lake just minutes from the beach. Definitely recommend to all.

Great State Park, we used to camp there two or three times a year, no longer camp but they have a great beach facility if you want to get away from Gulf Shores Beach area for a little more laid back experience. Restrooms and covered tables at facility.

We loved the bike friendly lanes to ride to Gulf State Park and then enjoyed riding the beautiful paved trails and enjoying the natural habitat. We were a little disappointed not to see an alligator, but it was warm outside.

We visited the Gulf State Park on Wednesday in July 2016. We arrived at 2 pm and left at 4:30 pm. We paid $6 a car. The parking was half full. The facilities were excellent. There were water outlets in the changing rooms. There was a canteen in the main building. The beach sand was white and the water was... More

We have camped at Gulf State Park in our RV for several years now. The campground is always maintained well and the bathhouses are always clean. There are many things to do and there is a fantastic pool and splash pad. The beach is across the road but you can bike over or like us, we always takes a lot... More

We went to the beach on Saturday afternoon so it was crowded. The cost to park is $6 and there were still plenty of spaces available. The water was warm and clear. There is a bath house and a concession stand here. This is the beach access we always use.

I love to camp here. The facilities are well maintained, and they have a nice pool which my grandchildren love!

We usually stay at the Beach Club at Fort Morgan and wanted to try something different this time to Gulf Shores. We decided to try the Gulf State Park and camping. First, great facility. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. The kids enjoyed the tennis courts and swimming pool. Our site was very close and convenient to everything. Camp store,... More

We like visiting Gulf Shores because of its atmosphere. The area is not your typical beach type area.

Just about every public beach stop was overly crowded, but we love the beach so we wanted to check this one off of our visited beaches. Had a blast just be weary of jellyfish. Didn't realize they would be hanging out so close to the shore. Lots of fun!
