The first time I went to Gulf Shores was in 1973 and I have gone many times since. Despite hurricanes and oil spills, the sand this year was pristine. It is much more crowded with high rises, but the beach is beautiful.

The beaches are nice, however I am amazed and dumbfounded by the fact that Gulf Shores beaches do not have more recycling/trash receptacles along the shoreline. It is true that there are machines that clean the beaches every evening, however I am sorry to say...More

Beautiful, clean and peaceful beach to take your family too. The temperatures were not that warm but we had plenty to do.

Gorgeous white sand, warm gulf breezes, and the ocean waves- what's not to like? The beach was amazing, and we had a blast playing in the waves and beach combing. The facilities (bathrooms) are pretty nice as well. I can;t wait to go visit again!

It was nice and beach was beautiful. My friend and I spent day on beach and caught some Ray's. The waves were awesome and the air was something that everyone wants. This is my happy place and I love it...

The free beach is easy to get to and every one is so friendly here. Always wear sunscreen and it can rain and probably will.

Yes you can, but as others have stated, it cheaper to buy your own. Just more convenient to rent so you dont have to pack it around.
