Great place to buy souvenirs. We buy things for our families back home when we go. This is a great place to purchase neat items such as sea shells, t shirts, sandles, trinkets, little jars for sand or shells you find on the beach and...More

We have gone to this place 15 years in a row. The kids always enjoyed the big shark out front, but that is as far as I would go now. The new ownership of this place has run it down in the ground. Their prices...More

The name says it all! It’s a city of souvenirs! Great prices! The kids wanted to go crabbing so we got them a bucket, shovel and mining hat with a light! They loved it! My husband bought me two different wind chimes!

This place has every type of souvenir you could imagine. From clothes to shells to decorations, surely you can find something you like. They are a little pricey but it was the only souvenir shop we stopped at so I'm not sure how it compares.

Being in a hot vacation spot with lots of souvenir shops hats off to marketing. I mean, who can resist then giant shark store front! Was really impressed with the large selection inside and reasonable prices!

There are alot of souvenir shops up and down PCB. Of course Alvin Islands is the biggest chain in PC but there's also a HUGE store on Front Beach in front of Long Beach/Majestic Towers etc...think it's called Shipwreck T-Shirts or something like that. It has your usual t-shirts, beach chairs and toys, flip flops, hats, sunscreen, etc but they also have a very nice collectionn of bathing suits and other beachwear...if you can afford it. Bathing suits and outfits are pretty expensive but they...More

Gulf Shores Report; July 8-15 (11 Replies)
I recently returned from a wonderful trip to GS and wanted to give a little report. I got a lot of great information from reading these forums! My family and I rented a 4 bedroom/3 bath house out on Ft. Morgan. We used Ft. Morgan Realty. We were very happy with the house and the location most of all. It was great to have so much open space out on the beach, with so few people. We had 2 kids (1 and 2 years old) and they loved the sand and the water as well. We chose Ft. Morgan on purpose...More

Glad you had a good time. We love the Fort Morgan area and always stay at the Gulf Shores Plantation. Have thought about getting a house next summer (instead of 2 condos). I don't think the drive into Gulf Shores is bad either.
