Imagination Place is designed primarily for children ages 2 through 10, The kids will delight in exploring KidsTown USA where everything is pint sized. Downstairs is a medical clinic, grocery store, construction pit and more. You can even hop in the back of the Red Cross ERV (emergency response vehicle) and make a disaster relief meal.Upstairs you can enjoy the turtle hospital featuring Madonna and Yoko our two Russian tortoises, then visit the farm. Next you'll be able to slide back down to the first floor through the tree house fort.We believe children learn through play and hope you'll visit us at Imagination Place Children's Museum where we're play unplugged!

It is hot this summer and here is a fun place to take the kids to play using their imagination and lots of place to move. If you live near this place, by all means get an annual pass because you will use it not only here, but also for free or reduced admission to other places in the US.... More

The day we went, it was quiet, very few children there. My grandchildren enjoyed dressing up and pretending to run the shops and play with the toys. It was a great rainy day activity for the small town of Gadsden.

I loved the history element and the kids really loved the activities. I like to read and see town history and this was excellent. I understand it's a non profit and I too went in first without knowing and offered to pay twice next time. The city and area mock up and train is incredible. Worth the trip over and... More

I'm local to Gadsden, but only recently took my daughters (ages 9, 7, and 6) to Imagination Place. We went on a Sunday around noon and there wasn't another soul in the place besides two very nice employees. The kids would've stayed until closing, they loved it so much! There is currently a "How Gears Work" display available which we... More

We took my three children and their two cousins here today. Their ages range from four to seven. They were so excited when they saw the place, set up like a small town. They spent quite a few hours here and still didn't want to leave. This was a day well spent, and we probably will be coming back!

To be fair, my toddler could spend hours here and there's not really any indoor place in town that I could say the same for, so on that level it's recommended and we continue to take her from time to time. The place really does need to be refreshed, needs better lighting as it's very dim, and I agree with... More

This is a great place to bring kids. They will have a blast. I will agree that you do need to bring hand sanitizer. Some parents will let their unruly kids run wild but it is such a fun place. It held my sixteen months twins attention for two hours until they were ready to pass out in the car.

We took our very young son (<2) and admission was $6 each for adults and free for our son. As far as a cheap thing to do on a rainy day, it's ok. It is set up like a miniature town with a doctor office, train station, construction site, grocery store, etc. The quality of the exhibits is not up... More
