The park is situated right behind the mall. After shopping, you can spend some time there or you can take your picnic and have it at the park. There are several seats or roofed bankets. The area is clean with several litter boxes. The trail...More

We walked about a mile in and found the boardwalk over the water was closed for repairs. We were disappointed in that, but will return on another visit when they finish their work. The easiest way to find the trailhead is behind the Sears store...More

This is a nice little trail if you don't want to spend a lot of time in the woods. The trail is flat. We did not see any wildlife, but it may have been the time of day that we were there.

We enjoyed going there and seeing the wildlife and lake. However, you must be aware that in the evenings an unsavory element from a nearby housing facility can be a real problem. Go in groups, and ladies I would suggest going with a man. Concealed...More

This is a well maintained and safe Wildlife Park Trail a little over a mile long. It is suitable for families but not for children under 4 years old. Take bottled water with you if the day is warm.

Very nice park with boardwalks through canopy. Lots of birds and wildlife. Recommend going in pairs or with group. Because some areas are a little quite you'll feel more comfortable.

If you are looking to get out and experience nature via walk, jog, or bike this is for you. I would caution you not to do it alone. It is very remote.
