A wonderful small town downtown still with some character and interesting little shops in this unfortunate age of cookie-cutter strip malls. Please support these small businesses to keep Walmart from ruining this wonderful town!

By chance happened to arrive on the first Friday "Art Walk". Galleries were open late and many offered free wine and snacks. Lots of local entertainment on the streets - some really good, some not so good. Lots of fun.

This street has a great variety of shopping/dining experiences for everyone. You can find art galleries, clothing, toys, sweets and hardware just to name a few. Walk the length down to the park and the pier. It is a beautiful area.

The First Friday of every month is Art Walk in Downtown Fairhope! The streets are alive with music and shops showing off local art work! Plenty of good food too!
