I have been a Fan of the Cook Natural History museum for many years. I have taken hundreds of friends there and each has enjoyed it. We anticipate the 2018 reopening in the new location. Aces all around to these nice people.

You never seen so many things that are crawling around you in one place. You have seen some around your yard, but you didn't know what else lurks until you come here.

This museum is currently CLOSED. Will not reopen until sometime in 2018. This is a private museum run by a pest control company.

This has been a favorite for families, school groups, and scouts for years, especially since it was free; it had such a large variety of items and the volunteers were so nice; we look forward to the new one, but we will miss this one

Be sure to swing by if you are in Decatur. A very large version of the original is under construction. Terrific place to entertain kids and for adults to learn.

First of all. It's free! You can make donations which is great. They have all sorts of bugs and animals to check out. The kids loved it. We can't wait until the new building is finished!

It takes about 45 min to go thru. Very well presented. The displays were great. Lots of bugs you've never seen before. It has a small gift section, reasonably priced. If you need something to fill in a little time it's great. And it's free.
