We went 07/24/16 @230pm. We go and it's sunny and pretty. We pay our 20$ a piece 80$ for our family & walk in. Was going to sit down and get in the pool and someone comes over the intercom & says there was rain detected in the area & to get out of the water. We literally didn't even... More

We went on a Wednesday which meant half-price tickets. My mother and 6 yr. old nephew each paid $7.50, my 2 year old grandson was free and adults were each $10. FREE parking. The park itself didn't have many rides or slides, but was totally worth the price. We had SO much fun! We took our lunch in a cooler... More

I will start with the good. The water park itself is awesome. Our kids had a blast... Point Mallard has a splash pad, lazy river, wave pool, Olympic sized pool with diving boards, kiddie pool area, river beach, wave pool and various water slides. We went on a Monday and it was great that prices are half off (Monday -... More

We have visited here as a family several times and always enjoy it but the most recent visit was cumbersome. The price is very reasonable for the experience, love the lazy river and wave pool but did not get to enjoy the bowl or other slides due to a completely stupid shirt rule. Last year you had to remove your... More

Horrible experience! I do not recommend this waterpark to anyone. It is full of lifeguards who have nothing better to do than yell at you and make sure that you do not have any fun! First of all they have a rule that you cannot wear swim shirts on any slide or even in the Olympic pool. Really?? I understand... More

Looking for kid friendly activities in the Huntsville area, we heard about the Point Mallard Waterpark in Decatur, AL. Having had a bad experience in another Huntsville area “amusement” park, we were not sure what to expect. However, Point Mallard turned out to be a truly fun time in a very clean and well maintained setting. The Point Mallard Waterpark... More

Great water fun with my brother and teenage niece and nephew. A wave pool, 4 different diving platforms in another pool, 6 different water slides, a lazy river, a small kid's water section, and the river complete with a sandy beach (with kayak & paddle board rentals). By no means the largest or the most adventurous of water parks, but... More

My wife and I opted for a "staycation" this year and took the short drive to point mallard to stay the week. We stayed at a hotel close by and made the short ride each morning. The park opens at 10 am and getting there around that time allows you the ability to get great parking. The admission fee is... More

We were there when they opened the gates. The lazy river is very small and you have to walk across the park to get there. It was comfortable until the afternoon then the park became very packed and everyone was like elbow to elbow in the wave pool and in the pool.

Free parking. Very reasonable gate prices. Lockers are $8. Large park with wave pool. Large pool with high and low diving boards. Also, 2 man tube flows into large pool. Lazy river. Family area for young children to play in water. Several flumes. Pavilions for family gathering. Plenty of shade if need to get out of the sun. Only downside... More
