We visited our last day on Dauphin Island. Lots of exhibits and fish/animals for the kids to see. Can't wait to go back when the Covid mess is over so the kids could participate in the hands on activities.

Oh man, this place looked like it was so much fun before the corona! We have kids aged 15, 12 and 5. We enjoyed the aquariums and seeing all of the species and variety of sea life. But, there were lots of interactive areas that had to be closed due to the pandemic. That was a bummer. But the staff was excellent! The place is clean and well cared for and it was fun for a rainy day. I would definitely go back after this nightmare of a pandemic is over just to do all the fun interactive areas with kids.

You have to buy tickets online in advance as reservations are required. They charge an additional fee to purchase online. Lame. All interactive attractions are closed. You can't even feed the stingrays. It was like paying to walk around the fish section at Pet Smart. Again, lame. The gift shop is small and pricey as expected. Beware, just because an item is for sale they may not sell it if that's the last one they have. I guess reordering is complicated. Overall, don't waste your money or time. Zip across the street and hit the fort.

Due to covid restrictions not all sections were open and not crowded. The facility was well maintained and very educational. The granddaughter loved it.

We came by here and walked through their exhibits. They had several aquariums with local fish and a stingray "petting" area (closed due to covid). If you read everything it will take about an hour to go through. I thought it was a little pricey for the length of time that it takes you to go through it.
