Very cool. It was super long. I can not imagine driving over it with my car. At any point especially in the good old days. Loved the lake and mill behind the bridge. Great swimming hole, with picnic tables to rest at.

It's a fun novelty to walk on the bridge and a very popular place for pics. They have many picnic benches, their water wheel works, a grand waterfall with a new bridge that goes over it. It's well shaded and cool in hot weather. A...More

A great place for a short relaxing visit. The bridge is a historic treasure for the area with interesting architecture. The trees in the park are absolutely gorgeous.

Stopped here for a break from interstate driving. It's about 8 miles from I-65. This bridge doesn't look like the covered bridge I was thinking it would be. It looks like it's had lots of updating with new boards and tin. You can only walk...More

Wow, what a bridge. I have never seen a covered bridge before. This is a nice attraction. There seems to be some good history behind it.

I was in a quick hurry and could not spend an adequate amount of time visiting this attraction. It's super easy to find and if i'm in the area again, I will return to actually view the property.

This is a beautiful place, especially in th fall. Worth the drive as it is hidden off the main Hwy 278. Perfect for a picnic lunch.

Good little picnic spot & background for taking pictures. Sun comes in nicely on the bridge in the late afternoon.

I've been here twice. Loved it in both seasons. Beautiful bridge and park. Would be great for a picnic or short walk

It seems there were some signs after you get off I-65 at Exit 308, but I don't recall seeing any signs from I-65. A travel website provided the following directions: From Cullman, take I-65 exit 308. Drive west on US Hwy 278... More
