Madre Deus Church is an old church in Old Recife, the colonial part of the city, still conserved for tourism. It´s not very big like a Cathedral, but it´s simplicity makes it very attractive.

The most beautiful church in Recife! In the process of restoration, I just think it needs to be heated. The beauty of the altar favors savings at the time of decorating for a ceremony.

Very important church from the seventeen century made with coral stones. A short not to miss visit on the way to the Marco Zero square if you are coming walking across the historic bridges;

Located in the Recife Antigo (Old Recife) neighbourhood, the Madre de Deus Church is extremely well preserved. The building dates form the XVIII century, being one of the favourite spots for weddings in town.

One of the best preserved, if not the best preserved church in old Recife. Very good decoration and religious wood work. Located in the center of Recife, very central in town, of easy access and near other main attractions in the city.
