It's worth a visit, but pictures are better taken from the other side of the canal, where you can get the whole park in the picture.

We loved the walk by the water. Close to the big star in the street for photos. Nice restaurants to eat at along the water. Lots of shops close by.

The park is interesting enough and can be approached from Marco Zero for a small fee. You can also see it from one of the catamaran tours of the rivers and they sail fairly close to the park which is near enough for me.

You'd better take a boat or water taxi to explore this park. Hot spot with Carnaval activity. The sculpture is lotus symbol on the top with some snakes around. It is made of copper. You can access Park too. So don't hesitate to visit.

A great introduction to Brennard's epic museum to himself. The clay statues are incredible and worth taking a small boat over to get a closer look.

Ok, yes, the sculptures are wonderful and the perspective you get of both the ocean to the east and the city to the west is fantastic. Loved, loved, loved this. HOWEVER, driving back from here, on the causeway that connects to Brasilia Temosa, we had...More

So, this park of sculptures by Francisco Brennand is interesting; the big one called the crystal column is a huge replica of a cactus flower (Francisco may deny it but look at it closely and look at the plant; you will know where he got...More

Everywhere in Recife you can find along the streets and the squares and on modernist buildings of the last 4 decades, monumental art works created by Francisco Brennand. (*) To me, art in a museum is interesting and comfortable but somehow clean and artificial. Art...More
