Be amazed by the colourful, bustling sight of flowers everywhere & sellers/buyers checking wares. Street is crowded, esp when motorbikes/trucks try to pass thru. There are proper shops in inner lanes but didn't check them out.

This whole sale flower market is not meant for visitors especially girls & women because much like shopping in the malls, this place here is diametrically opposite. You may get foul smell, half naked men coming out of the bathing ghats and a stench which is not friendly. A paradise for flower lovers. The prices are a STEAL. Flowers here... More

Forget about European style flower markets - this is 100% Indian. In the marked they sell flowers that are used in religious ceremonies and worship - no nice bouquets, no house plants, no tacky flower pots. The market is a very crowded maze where hundreds of wholesalers sell sacks and garlands and giant mounds of cut flowers, leaves and plants;... More

This is an astonishing scene, with flowers seemingly everywhere by the thousands in color. It frankly must be seen to be believed.
