- Kastuv RBirmingham, United Kingdom59 contributionsBest shopping mall in West BengalI visited this Mall last month and went to Star Mark to get some toys for my nephews and a book for myself. It is great to see how Kolkata is flourishing. All restaurants were amazing and it was just nice to be there in a hot country.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 31, 2024
- Instantcalm181 contributionsOne of the Kolkata's best mallsDefinitely one of the best malls in Kolkata. Not too big that it tires you out & enough parking. They have all kinds of establishments - luxury as well as middle-range (especially for clothes). Spencer's is a very useful food mall in the basement, with a surprisingly large range of products, something I couldn't find easily even in Mumbai. The food court on the top floor serves average fare, but the restaurants are great.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten May 22, 2024

Every large city has a High street Retail to boast off and this mall is Kolkata’s answer to the likes of UB City , Bengaluru or Palladium , Mumbai.
The security measures in place to maintain overall hygiene and safety protocols during Covid are in place. I found the security taking special care to disperse crowd gathering together in a group with a smile and politeness.
The mall boasts of brands like Michael Korea, Coach, Gucci etc. Some of the items are way beyond affordability of common folks but that doesn’t stops you from checking out isn’t it ? Pls go and browse across the stores to give yourself a happy kick of Retail therapy. Importantly there are enough food outlets where you can afford to eat so it’s a good day outing in the right temperature in the city of joy too. Go and enjoy !

This mall has all the big brands under one roof, INOX and great food court. I have been to the movies twice. The food over there is bit overpriced. The food court offers various choices ranging from Burger king to KFC.

Situated right on the main road near Park Circus. One of the biggest shopping malls over at Kolkata, West Bengal. As per my opinion this place is a nice shopping arcade where you can find large brands showcasing their products. Fantastic place to visit if you are at Kolkata...

Someone in an ivory tower's trying too hard. This time there was easy access to from the car park, but no wheelchair access from level 2 (the only level parking was available). Also the food court, though being renovated, is a mess. Dining aside, the mall is good - size just right, with Spencer's in the basement a continuous highlight.

The mall is a place of super convenience in Kolkata. You find a large pool of brands in one roof with neat and clean and spacious environment. Food court on top floor is another attraction of the mall. A combination of eastern and western cuisine has made it unique. Sufficient number of toilets/restrooms are there with proper cleanliness and hygiene. A great place for family shopping!

This is rated as the best Mall in Kolkata. You get every foreign brand along with indigenous stuff to meet your personal requirements for shopping.
Food court has many restaurants to suit your taste and choice. You can entertain with a movie also. Really good place to enjoy your day. Must visit place in Kolkata.

I must say sorry for my Title. But thats the hard reality. Be it in the lift, escalator, food court or looking for some good size in any of the branded shop, the people around are totally from different school of thought were being civilized is the optional subject. Now, I am not trying to generalize things, so to be little specific, there were no rules and regulations for running a shopping mall in place and hence its like the "Purge" every day.
1. Go to food court and who ever can push more wins gets ahead. (No clear line demarcated)
2. Take the lift and people will flatten you over the wall (no max per limit notice)
3. While paying the parking fee there is high chance that you might have to wait for 30 min to just pay and get out of the mall.
4. Be always steady on your feet as you may never know when people will just give you a hard push and you might loose your balance and then you can take your call and decide where you want to fall.
I generally don't give such a negative feedback as I judge less and try to experience life as it comes, but my last visit with my family in this mall was not so good experience and specially with all its care, I can still not mitigate the risk of unruly horrible crowd.
Anyway, I am in the process of digesting this experience saying one should have this kind of memories also. If you are going alone or with male friends go ahead and visit this place as its a brand new mall & if you are with family, I would suggest going somewhere else.
Happy Experiencing Life!!!

I would say it was Just Awesome Experience - anyone and everyone in Kolkatta or visiting - must go and experience. Charge of Rs. 250/- is fully justified.

Multiplexes are a common phenomenon in India today...Kolkata is not an an exception. Took my 6 yrs old son to watch Amazing Spiderman 2 to Inox at Quest Mall. Chose the Insignia Lounge as the venue for the movie. The waiting lounge was nice and comfortable...but lots more was still to come. As we were greeted into the theatre, the spacious interiors really brought a smile to our faces. The seats were the next surprise. My son was elated to find the seats that were soooo comfortable with sliding leg rests and extremely soothing couches. The extra sized tables were a delight and great help with the super delicious caramel popcorn.....coffee can be improved though. The best place by far in town to watch that rare movie by the rare movie watcher.

I'm not sure I can answer that. I assume you could follow the cars and check at the entrance.
