Spent a fantastic three hours (0600 - 0900) touring the city with Gautam. Just in Kolkata for the one day and what a great way to start off exploring the city. The bike is a perfect for gaining a rapid overview of everything on offer, and communication between rider and pillion works surprisingly well. Gautam was knowledgeable, friendly and perhaps most important of all - a skilled bike rider! Can't rate this experience too highly.

Amazing guide Hrithik with fabulous sights and sounds of the incredible Kolkata. Well spoken and handsome guide with a wealth of knowledge. Flexible about where to go and what to see and patient with the amateur photographer! Excellent company.

We had an excellent walk with Ritwick which was worth every penny It was titled confluence of culture and in a few hours we met Jews, Chinese, visited synagogues, a portuguese church , saw chinese breakfast being eaten and saw a tenement complex that looked like the East End of London..These guys are extremely knowledgable and talk you to hard to get to places in the city The Jewish synagogue is off bounds for the normal tourist these guys got us inside. they are local t the area and introduced me to fantastic Bengali breakfast at Baccharam which I would have never found on my own..Thoroughly recommend a walk I just wish I had more time to undertake some of their other walks.>Well done guys..

We called up Ifte at Walks of India to help us find juicy content for a travel show we filmed in Calcutta. Ask this guy about anything on any corner of the city and he's got heaps of interesting stuff to say about it. Not your standard dusty museum talk, but poignant and amusing facts and history that will give you a much deeper appreciation of this vibrant city. Calcutta isn't spectacular at first glance, but dig deep with these guys on the streets and you'll be charmed. Where Ifte took us I've gotta keep top secret, but I'm sure he'll take you if you want a more physical experience... just stretch first and get ready to get your hands.. well everything.. muddy.
