Great area to see all types of Kolkata life. New Market is just up the street. Lots of movement all around this area. During the Christmas and New Year Season, lights are all around. Walk around, take an Auto-Rickshaw, take a taxi. Try it all!

This is a most lively place in the heart of Kolkata just near to other chief attractions of the city like Victoria Memorial, National Museum, etc. This street is full of restaurants and bars, from book store to antique show-piece outlets, to best of beauty parlours. This is an attraction spot for most of the city youths for hangouts.

It was good to see the Park Street at it's usual vibrant colours, specially at night. it was busy and noisy. But we love it as it is. The Christmas and new years lights are still on at night. we thought we will miss the lights this year, but luckily it stayed.

Park St is a must do for anyone visiting Kolkata. A number of storied destinations beckon, including eateries (a number of whom have been around for generations) to cater to every palate and purse; and watering holes of assorted kinds.

.Park Street(Mother Teresa Sarani Marg)" is definitely the best decorated street in entire India during the year end festivities of Christmas and New Year akin to major City's of the Western and First world Country's. Visited Allen Park which organizes various functions during the Christmas/New Year. All the best Nightclubs and restaurants of Kolkata are situated on Park Street.
