To see the sunrise behind the Kanchenjunga was the amazing scenario. We visited the place a very early morning and saw the beautiful and memorable scenario that we never saw before. The weather was very cold and airy, needed some warm dresses. Overall the beauty of Kanchenjunga was very nice.

There are not words to describe the region. I opted to do a trek from Yuksam to Goechala and back and loved every minute of my trip. The mountains are peaceful, not too crowded and majestic. If you get the chance, make sure you get in a trek in the kanchanjunga national park region to experience the beauty of this... More

For a city dweller on a holiday to Darjeeling or Gangtok can be a big refresher! The drive towards Darjleeng is long and winding, going thru tiny hilly villages and tea gardens. Then suddenly at the higher altitudes the mountain ranges will appear gradually. On a sunny day, this will take your breath away... beautifully awesome! Stop a while and... More

The snow capped peak of kanchenjunga always attracts the tourist to darjeeling and sikkim throughout the year but it is clearly visible in the month of dec-feb. In this months one can see it from dooars and siliguri, even from kishangaunj also.

The view of Kanchenjunga from Darjeeling is good but not up to the mark if you compare by the level of hype.

Luxuriant, extraordinary, and such a mild climate. The Kanchenjunga Mountain has been visited over the centuries by intellectuals, artists and writers, all enthralled by its magical beauty. A mix of history, nature, worldliness and culture that blend together which is unique in the world.

The most breathtaking and spectacular view. The snow capped mountain looks as if its an arms reach from the Mayfair Hotel in Himalayan city of Darjeeling. Life can be a bliss when you have a back drop like this whilst sipping on a steamy cup of the world famous Darjeeling tea. A once in a life time experience.
