When we visited this place, prayer was in progress. We were given the hand drum and stick to participate in the prayer. Good experience.

A traditional style built Japanese temple. Where you can see people visiting to see the Japanese style temple and other heritage paintings and photos. Neat and clean inside the temple and even in Corroder area.

Missing this won't be a good decision. Must go if you are inspired by Buddha, and also if you want to give just a thought to visit this place. Its well connected, need a taxi to visit.

Great surroundings to visit amid lots of trees. This place has got both- Japanese temple near the entrance and Peace pagoda (white coloured) at a little distance. The later one is very good looking and designed beautifully with wooden crafts depicting Buddhist stories and idols of Lord Buddha.

Must visit when you are in Darjeeling. After a tiresome journey to Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop, little bit shopping you will feel much energised again after visiting this Temple.
