The journey to this waterfall is pretty enchanting and soothing once you are there. It is place to click lots of photographs and enjoy hot Maggie and coffee and Omlets. Place is always buzzing with lots of tourists. Don't spend too much time in just clicking the pics instead enjoy the beauty.

The area of Barbotey Rack Garden was created for tourists in 1980. Since then it has been highly maintained and improved gradually. A lot of beautiful waterfalls and different kinds of flower trees keep the garden's beauty more alive. It is a little bit long way to reach to the top but the journey to the pick is very colourful as well as narrow. A must visit garden in Darjeeling.

Approach to this garden was not good. As we were in Indica, so we have to walk 1km.
But the garden is very beautiful. It is made in the rocks. A little man made fountain is also there. Snaps taken here are amazing and life long fresh. This garden is very large, we could not view it completely as we were tired. But whatever the portion we viewed, was very beautiful.
Hence, one must go there.

Take some time to visit the place. After getting side the park, take a leisurely, however careful, walk inside the terraced gardens; there are lots of photo opportunities to be availed of by the small lake, hill stream cascading over rocks along the slope, done up with flower gardens and sitting spaces at different levels and the adjoining tea gardens – be sure to wear suitable footwear and not to stumble on the uneven landscape, particularly with children. You can also sit back and enjoy the tribal dances and performances on display by the localities.

Dear Friends, on 26-10-2012, at around 8.30 A.M., we had started our trip for MIx Tour, in which after showing Tea Garden, Ropeway and many other sites, they took us to Rock Garden, the road was totally damaged, but the scenery is superb. After reaching there, we found there is a ticket counter for ticket worth of Rs. 10/- for adult and Rs. 5/- for Child.

We purchase the ticket and went in the Rock Garden, nice place, superb waterfall, but the garden was totally damaged. No renovation has been done from long. Enterance is not at all attractive, which is required for good tourism.

We have taken many shots & most important like in Kashmir & Nainital, here also travellers get dresses to hire and take picture.

Altough the roads are in very bad condition, we hav enjoyed too much.

This a nice and beautiful garden filled with beautiful flowers and tress. The road leading to garden offers beautiful views although the condition of road is not good. The springs and lotus inside garden adds its own charm.

This is really very nice natural water falls. But not so clean. People like us make it dirty. Government should take steps to make it clean as this is one of the best tourist attraction place.

I have visited total 12 places of tourist interest in Darjeeling. However, I didn't find anything special in them except the Rock Garden. though the roads are not in good condition, the garden is someway a peaceful and pleasant place to spend an hour or more. However, those who have already visited the Kempty Falls near Mossourie, they may avoid visiting the Rock Garden at Darjeeling. the latter is less atractive than the earlier.
