The area
Neighborhood: Anna Nagar
From being a secular locality with several places of worship co-existing in harmony to shopping areas with large independent boutiques, chain of branded stores and multiple hole-in- the-wall outlets, the busy streets of Anna Nagar are among the most well-planned areas of the city. If you are up for some lovely morning and evening walks, then explore Anna Nagar Tower Park – one of the largest parks of Chennai. For those in a mood to shop or eat, head towards Second Avenue – one of the busiest arterial roads here. With a variety of churches, temples, lakes and huge malls, this is the perfect neighbourhood you can trust for spending quality time with your friends and family. Don’t forget a visit to Thousand Lights Mosque that features a multi-dome design and is highly popular for its architectural magnificence which gets further highlighted on special occasions when a thousand oil-lamps are lit in the main area of the mosque.

I, my wife, my friend and his family had a really nice picnic out here. It was a really nice place for his kids to play while we just hung back relaxing and chatting up. The place has jogger's tracks for morning walkers. Its very well managed. The place is very clean and the security's good too.

Unlike other parks this park is located in a good locality. Located on Ellis road near Anna nagar, this park is suitable for the elderly and kids as well. This is the modern version of a park and it was built with modern advancements. Kids often come here to enjoy the park and engage in playful activities.
