beautifull temple

Beautifull hindu temple. The only thing is that foreigners are not accepted inside the main shrine. I understand but I would have loved to see the main deity ...

Started off my Chinnai trip with Kapaleeshwar temple seeking blessings from Lord Shiva... Excellent place with lots of people visiting this place even on weekdays was surprising !!! Rightly termed as the best place to visit, if ever in Chennai. Gives you a real great exposure on how rich our culture is. Must visit if ever in Chennai !!!

Travelers to Chennai will never ever miss this place. Not only a tourist attraction but one big temple in center of the metropolitan city. HUGE is the only word to describe it. To speak about the history we need at least a couple of days for it. We can have it as a separate episode. Tourists from other states or... More

A very popular Hindu temple for Lord Siva. Easy to reach this temple either thru bus or train or car. Ancient temple with rich history.

If you are in Chennai, you can't possibly fail to see this and whether Hindu or not, you can't fail to take in the spirituality of this ancient and colourful building set in the... More

The Mylapore Temple is a real gem, with masses of colourful figures. It's history is paraphrased in the photo attached. It is another typical Dravidian architectured structure to compare with the great example in Tricky. There were many happy family groups, with many smiling faces wishing to engage with us.
