The first thing that wonders me is that this temple's Sanctum is air-conditioned. Well maintained Hindu temple known for its cleanliness and great varieties of typical south Indian street foods in and around Mylapore.

This is a very beautifully made temple and like most of the temples in south India which I have visited, place is very clean and have sandalwood and kumkum fragrance all around.. you will definitely experience peace of mind, just leave your thoughts outside and feel mesmerized by this place..

I remained without breath when I saw the temple. It is composed of different temples into a area protected by walls. You have to go inside without shoes and socks and for me it sa was the opportunity to be close to Indian culture.

Kapaleeswarar temple at Mylapore is very ancient and carries a long history. The temple has vast internal space and the entire temple is very well maintained by the authorities. Temple has Lord Shiva as Kabaleeshwar and Karpagambal as principal deities. Temple attracts pilgrims from local and from outside. Temple has a huge tank which is very neat and clean.

Beautifull hindu temple. The only thing is that foreigners are not accepted inside the main shrine. I understand but I would have loved to see the main deity ...
