you can find nice clothes ( printed fabric cotton for woman and man), nice jewels (rings, brcelets...) and also gifts to take back (as paper books), at affordable price. The choice is huge and the staff is helpul.

I have been returning to Anokhi Jaipur on every trip.
They carry good quality clothing and home goods in a style that appeals to foreigners. Indian patterns and fabrics that are not too flashy and that you can still appreciate back
home.
PLUS there is a great coffee shop in the store with delicious dishes, sandwiches and salads that are safe to eat. Bread for sale too.

Highly recommended if you like prints on everything! I bought five apparels for approximately 9,000 rupees which is very affordable - it’s more expensive than what you get on the streets but the designs you get are unique and of better quality. I was so engrossed in shopping for clothes that I ended up buying pillowcases that cost 1,550 rupees each. SO EXPENSIVE!!! So just beware of the prices and don’t pick up everything just because they are beautiful :p I would recommend to come here on your first day in Jaipur - could have saved you a lot of time looking for clothes elsewhere!

We love Anokhi and had been to their beautiful museum near the Amber Fort earlier in our trip to watch the elderly artisans exhibiting their craft. We hopped in an Uber to the main Jaipur shop which is located in a small shopping mall.

I'd read the reviews about the staff being a bit disinterested and they really weren't kidding. Like most Europeans I'm very turned off by shop assistants who follow you round their store commenting on everything and acting like you're about to steal their stock. That said, I do like to at least be acknowledged and to have somebody around to ask questions to. I have never come across any shop in India where the staff seemed less interested in actually selling anything.

The stock is patchy - not all the sizes or designs on the racks and nobody ready to offer to look for you. The prices are rather high - I'd say noticeably more than FabIndia (which has more diverse stock). The shop also seemed to be almost entirely clothes and I don't recall any household linens on offer.

I'm glad they had an excellent cafe to make the trip worthwhile.

Desperately seeking good customer service! !!

The clothing and soft furnishings are wonderful and we enjoyed shopping at this store.

Sadly the surliness of all the staff members ruined the experience. Being completely ignored by staff behind the counter when you are ready to spend money is not how to run a business.

If you don't like working there - then find another job! !!

Otherwise, everyone needs customer service training.

Sorry Anokhi - you failed to impress this time

I have terrible experience in ANOKHI because of the staff who’s name is ANGELI.(I don’t know spelling exactly but she stood at the counter.) She was really really really rude to customer. Why did you treat me like that? Because of buying just two things? Not a big buyer? Or due to not an Indian?

Dear ANOKHI shop owner. Please train your staff exactly. I’ve never seen like rude staff like your shop! I looked forward to visit your shop before visit to India. But your staff spoiled my expectation.
To other visitor, the needlework condition is absolutly better than market. Of course the price is much higher than market. But the quality of the material is as same as market.
Because of your shop, I left Jaipur with bad memory and I suggest to my friends and coworkers NEVER USE ANOKHI.

ANGELI, if you work at counter, you have to learn WHAT IS THE SERVICE AND DON’T IGNORE THE CUSTOMER!!

Usually in india we have wonderful experiences with the staff and service, but not here! I shopped at anokhi 3 times over this.month that I am living in Jaipur, and after the third time of bad service I am really turned off. I appreciate the products, but the staff behind the register is beyond rude. You don't have to speak hindi to recognize when people are talking about you right In Front of you. Furthermore, the register staff didn't bother to nicely fold my items when purchased, I had to do it myself and place into the bag. I see in other reviews that customers feel the same way so I hope anokhi will consider replacing or retraining the people who work at the register. There are so many nicer people I have met In india than the people who work here. NOT acceptable for a customer to have 3 bad experiences, I would have obviously forgiven a single bad experience but three times is far too much.

Lovely home items well displayed. The clothes are a bit of a mess, not well divided and seem randomly displayed. Customer service on the floor and on the register is poor. No interest in helping the customer. Shame as the clothes themselves are good. I won’t be going back.

Came here and bought some cotton men’s underwear and a scarf a couple of weeks ago.
First time in the wash and I could have loaded my fountain pen with the water as the blue scarf shed so much dye. Just hand washed the boxer shorts and they ran dye too.
Is this a sign of quality?

Anokhi is not the cheapest store around, but the quality is excellent. Beautiful hand block printed fabrics in clothing for women, men and children, as well as quilts and other furnishing items and some accessories. It's been one of my favorite store for more than 25 years. I just wish they would do more organic cotton. They also have a good cafe adjacent to the store.
