    Very interesting.
Beautiful building and a very interesting museum with so much to see! Spread over two floors. A few things, as there is so much, I became overwhelmed so just pick what your interested in or browse through it. You can spend an hour in here or half a day. Really depends on your interests. Information is in English too.

    A good visit.
Two sides of the same coin. Outside is picturesque. Inside is a a museum where you can see so many daily objects architecturally so appealing. Evening hours you can see the lighting but I would prefer the day look to get a more historical vibe. Takes around an hour. Entry Ticket rs 50, use scan and pay to avoid queue

    Impressive
The Albert Hall museum is the oldest museum of the state and the building and grounds are impressive. It has a treasure trove of things - international art, miniature paintings, paintings, sculptures and artifacts. I enjoyed the museum and also walking around the grounds.

A Night of Cultural Splendor: Albert Hall Museum on World Heritage Day
Visiting the Albert Hall Museum on the auspicious occasion of World Heritage Day, April 18th, was an unforgettable experience. Inside, the museum's vast collection of artifacts, ranging from exquisite sculptures to rare manuscripts, mesmerized us at every turn. Could be even better !
A century ago, time came to a standstill. Within the confines of a decrepit building, lies a treasure trove, a collection of remarkable beauty. Yet, its splendor remains obscured, overshadowed by neglect and decay. Each artifact, frozen in time, whispers tales of a bygone era, longing to be unveiled, longing to be heard. The walls, once vibrant with life, now crumble in silence, bearing witness to the passage of time. But amidst the ruins, there exists a potential, a hope, a yearning for restoration. For within this forgotten sanctuary, lies the essence of history, awaiting its resurrection.

One of the Advanced & Modern Museums having collection of all the times. Must Visit
I visited this museum in afternoon that time sunlight was very intense. I reached here by walking from badi chaupar. This Museum is situated in Ram Niwas Garden Jaipur. It was renovated in 2008 & opened as one of the advanced museum in India. This place is named after King Edward VII or Albert Edward. This place have great collection of all items of Ancient , Modern India & and even Abroad. Some Collection are Coins, Egyptian mummy, fountain in courtyard, Paintings, arts, Handicrafts, Sculpture, Artifacts, Statue and many more. I enjoyed a lot and spend almost 2 hours here. Nice place to learn about past. I experience wonderful moments of past. Anyone who have passion to learn something new, they must visit.

    Night Visit is Best
A good museum to visit outside and in. The evening view from the outside is definitely worth seeing. Not convinced about the charges of going inside, especially if you are on a group tour and have only around 40 minutes to visit the inside. Please remember the tickets are a lot more expensive for non indians. Indian may be asked for ID in order to get cheaper tickets.

The best place to visit in Jaipur is Albert hall museum. The collection is amazing and whats even more fulfilling is the fact that there is a description for each and every artefact (unlike city palace museums which is not worth at all).
Additionally the entire museum is Air conditioned which was a relief in the sweltering heat...you can spend time here comfortably.
Of all the sight seeing places, this is the best in Jaipur at a very minimal entry fee of Rs50 pp.
Go for it !

Albert Hall Museum is a very regular museum with weapons, pottery, ceramics, crystal ware, daily use items from olden days, statues, textile, paintings, coins from different eras. It has an Egyptian mummy too. The entire visit took about 1-2 hours. There was nothing spectacular about this museum.
However, the museum lights up very beautifully after sunset. That pretty sight is a must see from Bapu Bazaar. It is visible from one of the gates there.

It's a museum in middle of city and I will highly recommend this place and after this you can visit to famous market area of Jaipur city.
It was a concert hall which was converted into museum later. You have a good parking space and entry ticket is minimal.
This museum will show you some artifacts which is preserve in it and this is something which should in checklist of Jaipur.
Authorities are following all the safety measures for visitors. Best time to reach later evening to click some amazing pictures for your social media.

We visited the museum in Jan 2020. It is centrally located in Jaipur, well connected by public transport. The building itself is ornamental and selfie buffs would love it.The museum galleries are well laid out in three spacious levels with magnificent display of metal craft, arms and armour, pottery, miniature paintings, jewellery, musical instruments, coins, carpets, ancient scriptures, and the most beautiful sculptures in metal and stone of Hindu Gods and Godesses from 8th century onwards, with exquisite ornamental crowns, subtle smile & features. Other sculptures include Bodhisatva, Yakshi, Chaturbhuji Vishnu, Vaman Vishnu, Mahishasur Mardini, etc, which make every Indian swell with pride. The gallery is home to an Egyptian Mummy of the Ptolemaic Era and certain facts and details about various mummies found in Egypt. It was an overall treat to view and capture the art on display.
A must visit place in Jaipur.
Family loved it. A delight for your visual senses.

The museum has many nice collections of pottery, ceramics, textiles, weapons and many more of this region. The museum at night in varied colours is a treat to watch. Above all, this is unique for the collections from Egypt in a separate section at basement including the egypt mummy ..few thousand years old preserved here.

We landed at the site accidentally - our driver took us to the Coffee Day on the premises as we were craving our morning fix. Did not go inside the museum as it had not been on our agenda but drove by there a couple of time. It looks majestic at night - all lit up! This was a day before Republic day so the building was beautifully swathed in the colours of the Indian flag.

On January 24th, my husband and I visited the museum and when buying the tickets we noticed that the lady in front of us, an Indian tourist, had to ask the person selling the tickets for an exchange because the correct amount was not being charged. When we went to pay, because we are foreigners, we had to pay 300 rupees each. We gave 1000 rupees and got 300 back. We also had to ask for the right exchange. The gentleman working the ticket booth seems to feel comfortable taking some money for himself. The museum was beautiful and we spent several hours exploring it.

One of the best museums in Rajasthan. The building itself is wonderful depicting Indo-Saracenic architecture. It has a very good collection of sculptors, paintings, weapons, musical instruments, etc. The main attraction is an Egyptian mummy. One can easily spend an hour here and photography is permitted.

We visited Albert hall museum in February 2022. Our guide was Mr. Ram Mishra and we were really fortunate to have him on board with us. Albert hall is a wonderful space offering a combination of history and art. I was mesmerized to see the shields with epics engraved, the sculptures of abhaneri and the mummy. With the help of our guide who was fluent in french and english, it became easier to understand everything. We were taken care of with utmost attention. Albert Hall museum is also very beautiful and we enjoyed every moment there!
