Not like normal hindu temple where you will find silence, this place is full of enthusiasm, lots of people singing lovely songs in praise of lord krishna, once you sit there for a while you will not want to get up. There are 7 prayers (darshan) everyday, timings depend upon the season, to check the darshan timings visit http://govinddevji.net/jhakia.htm

This temple is famous and it is evident once you reach the temple !! people keep pouring and still one finds enough space to him/her self. Once feels calm and Govindji's idol soothes one's mind. We visited this temple and wish we can visit regularly.

Jaipur city people main attraction is this temple and in the morning around 5000 people come to take Darshan of the Lord. It is an amazing sight to see so many devotees. It was well worth a visit.

The faith is boundless. There are the regulars who are there everyday, and then there are those who are casual visitors. The really wonderful part is that you get a very good 'darshan' despite the huge crowd as you can very clearly see the deity from the huge hall and the surrounding courtyard in front. There are no queues or... More

Beautiful mandir with hundreds of joyful participants. There are morning and early evening ceremonies involving taking care of the deities. I felt very peaceful after coming here.

You can plan to visit Govindevji, City palace, and Jantar Mantar together in the morning. Else, you can visit the temple for the evening darshan after completing the full day sight... More
