Mesmerized is the word that came to my mind while seeing this place for the first time. This place is really beautiful and one of a kind dedicated to Lord Surya. Very clean, calm and peaceful.

This place is on a hill top situated near the Galtaji complex. The temple is unique as it is one of the very few Sun God temples in India and perhaps the only one (?) which has the wife of the deity in the same temple as told to us by the Priest there. One can drive up the hill... More

I have given this temple a good rank partially due to its good location and partially due to its architecture. It is not a very huge temple but built on a traditional nagara style temple. It has been white washed so the stone used to built it (perhaps) is no longer visible. However, it gives very good pictures. Moreover, from... More

Good temple, less crowded than usual places. Architecture is good, looks nice in rainy days. Easily accessible.

Surya Mandir (Sun Temple) is also called Monkey Temple. This part of famous Galtaji Temple situated at 200 metre height from City on Aravali Hills. Here are many temples including Hanuman Temple. From here yoy have a nice view of Jaipur City but be aware of Monkeys wandering here and there. A Nice visit.

When we started clicking our pictures in our camera we realized that this temple is so photogenic. The temple is situated at a good height so you can see the panoramic view of Jaipur. I loved the place as its quite best to see the natural view of the pink city - jaipur. A must visit. Stairs are quite a... More

The Surya Mandir Jaipur is off the common tourist trail and with it the hassle of touts, beggars or peddlers.there are wonderful panoramic views, which are best viewed at sunset. The Surya Mandir Jaipur a good tourist activity of Jaipur.

this temple is very rare. visited this temple only once and i was very impressed with the aura of this place , very powerful and energetic. built on a hill , the access is difficult , but once you are there then you feel the energy around the sun temple.
