This is a lovely museum, arranged over three galleries and an additional upper level. On our visit, there were photographs, jewelry, embroidered textiles, marble carvings, and tribal art on display. Pictures are allowed.
Admission is free! The guards (docents?) are very friendly, and as a foreign traveler to Jaipur it was pure luxury to wander in peace and quiet and absorb the exhibits. The displays were interesting, beautiful, spare, and refreshing after the other tourist attractions.
In addition to being a lovely place to visit during a free moment, the museum’s goal is to help keep indigenous arts alive by showcasing various pieces from different tribes and regions. Support them with a visit!

A rather new and interesting museum, located in a beautiful building in the middle of the market. The place housed an art college before and now is showcasing local crafts such as jewelry, textile, painting etc.
