This company was closed while we were in Mumbai but their founder, Mihir, was so helpful. He emailed us with all the best places to go and how best to get around the city and went above and beyond all expectations of great service!

We would give 6 stars if we could.

Initially I was surprised that I was the only one the tour. It was just Mihir and myself. Mihir was a walking encyclopaedia, and answered all the questions I had about the city of Mumbai. Being the foodie that I am I decided to go on this tour, and I did not regret it. I really enjoyed the Berry Pulao and the story behind it the most!

We found this tour via internet search and were intrigued by all the very favorable reviews. When we actually attended, we were not disappointed: Mihir had put together a delectable variety of different samples, food and locations, and seasoned it with some interesting and sometimes witty remarks and bits about Mumbai history. Even our teenage son had a good time, and that counts for something! All in all an experience that we can warmly recommend.

The food tour was one of the best things I've ever done, not only was the food amazing but Mihir was so knowledgeable about the history of his city and the love he has for it was apparent and I really enjoyed him showing us around and giving us advice about other things to do and places to go. I still dream about the Persian dish I tried, it was to die for and my advice to anyone else is don't eat all day but definitely book this tour, you won't regret it 😀

My first evening in Mumbai was filled with wonderful food and interesting history of the Fort area of the city. Mihir is a great host who's extremely knowledgable.

The food was delicious and things I wouldn't have tried by myself. And lots of recommendations for other great places to eat out during my stay.

There is a lot of eating on the tour and it's an adventure for the taste buds. Chickoo shake which is a banoffee pie favoured
fruit. I loved the Bombay sandwich, the keralan fish curry, the Iranian rice with barberries.

There is a lot of food so you won't go hungry. I'd recommend this tour for everyone visiting the city, it's great fun and informative. Enjoy!

This is a 'must do', probably the best 'tour' that we have ever done and we ate in (or by) places that we would normally if on our own.
Just do it!

Hours well spent. A wonderfully condensed food melange in the heart of Mumbai pulsating not only with vibrancy and exploring food styles that might defy your imagination including exposure of Art Deco Buildings of note [ second only to Miami]. The competent owner/guide is enthusiastic and a wonderful bearer of knowledge portrayed with modesty and measured with audience intensity. Certainly a highly recommended tour boasting information beyond expectations and good value.

To see the place one has to understand the food culture too .The culinary tours are well , some sort of tours . Sometimes they just show some of the food varieties. The belpuri pani puri and pav Bajji of the seaside was tasty The next place was a shabby kabab stall Food was tasty but what impression does one take back with them. Then we were taken to an old ice cream shop quite clean .Icecream had fresh fruits .

Just finished up my tour tonight and it was excellent so I wanted to post a review right away. Not only were all the food stops delicious, but Mihir also has a great knowledge of the history of the city and so he gives you a lot of color around the local buildings and areas. I learned a lot, ate a lot, and had a great time. Highly recommend to everyone, if you are in Mumbai forget the hotel buffet and try the real Mumbai cuisine!

Thanks!

Mihir did an excellent job of choosing an interesting and diverse sample of food. In addition to the excellent cuisine, his insight into the food and into the city made the tour truly fantastic. I would highly recommend this as one of the first things to do when arriving in Mumbai. It provides a good introduction to the city, an excellent dinner, and enough information about the cuisine to know what you would like to try more or less of during the rest of your trip.
