I ended up visiting this park while sketching with urban sketchers and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and serene this park was on a Sunday morning. It's a fairly big park considering other greenspaces in Mumbai. The entrance fee is only Rs 5. Even more impressive when you realise it used to be a garbage dump. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for some peace and quiet to visit. There are park benches where you can sketch or read or just watch the clouds go by.

Quite an oasis given how much of a concrete jungle Mumbai is. May not compare that favourably with gardens in other cities that have more space, but certainly not to be scoffed at. Great sea view!

The Port Trust garden is well maintained, clean and a walkers delight. For the horticulturally inclined, there's a wide variety of tropical flora around, and a small greenhouse/hothouse with a few rare cacti and shrubs. The garden has sitouts where you can enjoy a view of the ocean, and a multitude of walking tracks to explore.

Refreshingly, they enforce rules on not eating, spitting, littering and destroying plants, which makes this one of the best parks to visit in the city.

A good place to enjoy *Sunset*. This garden has entry *fees* of *Rs5* per head. It is located by the sea. Can hear the sea wave crash on rocks close by. Kids will have fun with all the play equipment they have. A path is laid around whole garden and can be used for walking and jogging. Fitness equipments are available for exercising. Atmosphere is very clean and green. Expect a lot of variety of plants and local birds to be around. Washroom are available and so is clean drinking water. Parking depends on availability of space.

Be aware that the garden is closed between 11am and 4.30pm
We arrived after a taxi-drive of 40 min ( traffic in Mumbai is ‘ something’ ) just after closing time, which is quit frustrating ...

It is an ideal place for jogging or evening walks and has greenhouse, stone plaza, glass house and a cactus house as well.
The garden is open from 06.00 am in the morning to 11.00 am and again from 04.30 pm to 08.30 pm in the evenings.
Its a very good garden to visit once for sure.

This is a fantastic place to take your kids and get lost amidst all the beautiful trees - and you can also see the sea!

This is like any other park in India.
To get inside you need tonget a ticket, for 1 time it's only 2 rupees, so very cheap. If you want to go there more then one time you could get monthly tickets also. inside ther park its alot of advertisements, I could found it little disturbing, because i want to go to the parks to get away drom the city and everything thats about money.
if you want to take pictures you need to pay for the camera, around 20-30 rupees i think.

This park is very close to the ocean but there almost no place for a good view because of the fence thats around the whole park.

There's almost only 2 types of people in this park (all parks of India).
- People that's walking/running for exercise
- couples that's hiding there relationship from their parents.
