Was able to visit this location on a tour of Mumbai at night. The views were wonderful and the city was so peaceful.

Malabar Hill is a long tree-lined road with old and smart residential housing in places and wonderful gardens either side of it at the top, of beautifully laid out and well tended gardens. Its where peace can be found and a stroll enjoyed: and to the eastern side wonderful views over Mumbai's Chowpatty Beach some distance below

Go there if you need panorama in your album, or if you want to relax and you see everything. Otherwise you can try something more interesting than view and garden.

I didn't find this area worth exploring. Lots of traffic, mostly expensive apartment buildings, and few grand but deteriorating mansions. Nothing remarkable.

We took a walk from our hotel at Kemps Corner. Sea side park, little athletics, young men gathered at Chowks sipping their chai yoghurts, high rise residential compounds, ramshackle tenements each with their own satellite dish, Christ on a cross next door to a temple to Hindu Gods, public open air laundry, street cricket, family of four on a scooter...... Great view from the top of Malabar Hill, but the gardens definitely need some TLC. All the locals walk around here in the evening. Theres street vendors just outside offering coconuts, roasted nuts etc. Not a MUST see, but would be good when the lights of Marine Parade come on.
