Posh and lovely

This is an up market area that boasts a lot of posh high rise buildings coming up. Definitely adds to the lovely skyline of Mumbai.

The richest people and the most powerful people in Mumbai live here. Lovely surroundings with large number of parks, the sea to one side and excellent infrastructure.

Malabar Hill is on the way to nowhere. You can't pass Malabar Hill; you have to go there. That's what makes Malabar Hill exclusive. To have reason to visit, and therefore, see Malabar Hill, The same is true of Altamount Road, of Pali Hill Road, of The Taj Mahal Hotel. You don't pass these roads or places on the way... More

Beautiful beaches! As I would caution back home (in Accra, Ghana) beware of the water. The difference with this beach is that the sand appeared to be clean we were only on the beach for a short while but it seemed like an enjoyable environment for all. Not too busy on a Friday.

This overlook is in a park area and provides some good photo -opps. There is also an interesting ' Shoe' in the area that looks like a depiction of the 'old woman who lived in the shoe' story. It's repair has deprecated so children can no longer climb on or in it like they once did.

One of the few quiet and peaceful residential areas in Mumbai. The W club provides good activities for members.

Offers excellent views of the Queens Necklace and the skyline of Mumbai - is not as populated as the rest of the city - so a good place to walk around.

The entire area is considered posh and the residences of rich people and even the CM of the state resides. It has a garden, which is frequented by the tourists. There used to be a restaurant that overlooked the entire bay, and was featured in several Hindi movies. It also has a parsi dead well, which is strictly forbidden for... More
