This is being maintained well and does help as a landmark in the area. There are cricket fields nearby so makes for an inviting neighborhood to walk around in.

This tower is part of the Bombay University Fort campus and houses the library. Although no one else is allowed to go beyond the first couple of stories. But there has always been stories since very long about the presence of ghosts. Not sure, if its true or not, but yes, its not a place to venture late at night.... More

An architectural marvel with beautiful stone work. The story behind it is that the person who had it built, did so for his mother who could no longer see the timee due to her failing eyesight. So the chimes of the clock tower would tell her the time of the day.

I suddenly noticed it yesterday when I’d gone for a walk around Azad Maidan and I saw there was cleaning going on. Made me realize the amount of maintenance it must be taking to be in such good condition and still be working perfectly! Great architecture!!!
