Its a good place but the beaches are very crowded. if you are looking for a peaceful and clean beach this is not the one. Its a one time visit during rains. There are some cool water sports but a bit expensive. If you love fish this is a superb place for you. There are few loner beaches around the... More

Alibaug is a popular local getaway for day picnics and overnight beachside getaway. Alibuag is a popular beachside area with simple beachside hotels at 100 kms South of Mumbai.

Salt rim is private beach bungalow in Korlai village (20 kms from Alibaug and 120 kms from Mumbai) with no habitation in the radius of 1 km of the bungalow. Korlai village is approx. 1.2 kilometers from of the place. The owners of the bungalow are based out of Mumbai while the bungalow is managed by two care takers (locals... More

Alibag is located approximately 100 kms from Mumbai and is a good place for a weekend getaway. The main attraction here is the beach and the forth which is in the sea. It gets crowded here during weekends. Near the beach, there are options for food and a few rides for kids. One can also go to Murud Janjira and... More

Its a clean beach 90 minutes boat ride from Mumbai and another one hour on road. while visiting ensure the timings of low tide and high tide. If you visit during low tide, you will find fast receding water.

A small quiet place about 100 km from South Mumbai is an ideal getaway for people on lookout for some solitude and tranquility. The drive is good but for the conditions of road. Verdent greenery after monsoons turns the place fresh and emerald green. It is a good idea to make the hotel bookings in advance specially if planning to... More

I have been here a few times both via ferry and road trip. Beach is crowded. Fort is good. It is better to go to kashid beach nearby. Visit this place only on winter to save yourself from sun and heat.

Have heard lot of things for Alibag, but I found it below expectation. First of all, the roads to reach Alibag is pathetic. Wonder how come so popular place has such worst roads. Moreover, the beaches are not that good.
