This was a 2.5hour long advertisement for two other walks that Khaki does in the vicinity. The host spent 2/3rd of the time mentioning the places that we wouldnt be seeing that day but were available on another tour 3 weeks later. Just go do the Dadar Parsi Colony Walk guys.

They say that it not what it used to be in the good old days; but its still very peaceful and beautiful
Must visit if you go to the island city
You can sit undisturbed on the lawns for hours and have long discussions for ever
In spite of the huge population, it is still large enough to accommodate everyone

Five Garden is located at Vadala-Dadar-Matunga in Mumbai and it is surrounded with Dadar Parsi colony. Five garden was created by Mancherji Joshi who is a well known socialist and corporator at that time. Five garden is called because there are five gardens in that area together. Five Each garden speciality is that it is for forchildren, families, senior citizens, loving couples, and for doing exercise.

Five Gardens Dadar comes across as a much likeable neighbourhood locality.

Close to the Parsi colony and not far away from Dadar TT, this place is frequented mainly by the locals although one could find the odd horse cart ferrying tourists as well.

Wadala & beyond is also easily accessible from this place. Like this neighbourhood every time I drop into visit a friend

A combination of gardens, park, playground and a small park with hideous plastic children's swings. Not a tourist attraction, or a place that people outside Dadar you plan to go.

Plus side is that it is blessing for the neighbourhood as the gardens offer a lot of open space. Good spot for a morning or evening stroll.

As the name suggests, these are 5 gardens, with 4 gardens forming a circle and one in the middle. These are pretty famous and are located in a very lush and green area, which is quite rare for Bombay! One can easily see that these gardens are for everyone of all ages, and people are enjoying either playing sports, swings and slides, strolling or just sitting and relaxing! A very calming and relaxing place in such a busy city!

The food here is very decent, but I thought the service could slightly be improved. They serve awesome wines and if you like wines then this is a sure place to visit. I will definitely be going here and hope the service is as good as the food in the future.

5 Gardens as the name suggests comprises of Five Gardens
1. Kids Playarea
2. Cricket Maidan for sports like cricket, football, also has open air gym.
3. Fountain Garden (in the centre of all)
4 & 5. Two big gardens with benches and grass field for quietly relaxing and enjoying the calm nature.

This place is crowded in morning by the morning walkers.

Avoid visiting of sunday evenings too crowded.

Nearest Station - Wadala (Harbour Line) 5 mins walking from there.

I have visited this garden with only with my friends. The garden is completely lush green and is fairly big. This garden is perfect picnic spot for family with children as their are many things to play with in the garden for the children. It is located near Wadala. It was evening when we visited this garden and was litle busy with people of all age groups. The environment was calm and peaceful. This garden is also a good place to jog and do yoga.
If I get a chance to visit this garden again, i would love it (a place to spend a relaxed time)
