It's a place where the famous Freedom Fighter of India Mahatma Gandhi lived it's a heritage building of National importance and tourist attractions and it's visited daily by a large number of visitors from India and Abroad to offer their tributes. One must visit this place to view the simple life style Gandhiji lived.

This was a moving and monumental experience. It was the highlight of Mumbai. Mumbai hot, steamy, tropical and has few big urban sights, unlike Delhi, so do not miss Mani Bhavan. You can sit and ponder the simplicity of the mat where he sat, supped, slept, conceived the most moving of thoughts on peaceful civil disobedience.

Excellent museum thronged by foreign tourists and school children - well maintained with a small shop. Good way to remember Mahatma Gandhi.

We went here as part of an excursion with a private guide. The museum is very old, but well looked after, we just paid about 20 rupees for entry. Gives good insight into Ghandis life and works. Is a must whilst in Mumbai
