Its a couple of lanes behind Gateway and is definitely a shopping paradise for ladies. You can get ( bargain!!!) jewelry, clothes, accessories, shawls/stoles, handbags, artifacts, slippers from small shops on the pavements. There are also branded shops/showrooms and famous eateries on both sides. Don't forget to look up and notice the architecture of the buildings.

Colaba with its beautiful old buildings and small lanes & alleys, is a wonderful place to discover What Bombay was is in the early 1900s. It's also a paradise for Shopping, housing numerous street shops as well as large showrooms , displaying wares for tourists and utility/ everyday essentials for the locals too. Wide variety of stuff is available across... More

This is one of my favourite places in Mumbai for shopping. All you need to be prepaid for long long walk and warm pocket (as you'll shop a lot). :-P Because there are many street shops which you'd stop by. Here you will get different kinds of shops for clothing, foot wears, accessories, best brand first copy watches, leather wallets/bags... More

Colaba Causeway is a favorite street for college students as you get a lot of funky jewelry, shoes and clothes on these streets. There are also some good brands in the vicinity but very busy street not recommended for people with small kids.

I like Colaba a lot - for me it has the right mix of traditional India with it's delicious street food eats, but also one or two spots with air conditioning and wifi for those like me who needed an hour to finish my work online. There's lots to see and it's easy to navigate around. Plus, if you're backpacking... More

An eclectic mix of big brand shops and street vendors. you can shop for clothes and accessories. Very popular with the young crowd looking for low cost. Part of the fun is haggling with the vendors for trinkets, clothes and fake antique items.

First it's a good shopping place , very crowdy and very alive and there are so many things to see in this place : Gateaway of India, Taj hotel, Leopold Café, many restaurants, many shops and so on : noisy, crowdy but so alive it's the heart of Mumbai : everything is very easy to reach by walking; maybe it's... Shopping in Colaba caters to every budget, style and taste. At one end of the scale there are fashionable boutiques, which have sprouted up in the century-old buildings of the Raj.Mumbai's unofficial tourist headquarters, Colaba is now experiencing a grand renaissance, Indian-style. Vibrant and colourful, Colaba is compact, walkable and packed with stuff to see and do.
