It is one of the prominent and must visit beaches in Mumbai in case you plan to visit Mumbai. It is located at a walk able distance from marine lines and can be easily accessed by train, bus or any other transportation. Along with a nice stroll along the beaches you would also get to try out your taste buds... More

Since its the first developed beach of Mumbai, the authorities do their most to maintain the cleanliness. Even the food stalls get clean water to cook food and wash. It is a nice place to sit and chat with friends and family. The bay areas is unique to the city, not found elsewhere. You can hire a mat to sit.... More

The only thing that made it remotely interesting was that they were setting up for a festival. So it seemed to be an important place for the locals. The beach itself is nasty.

I just came to see the Mumbai skyline from seaview - not a proper introduction to the city but it's close. There nothing much here, not many sun worshipper - which is a waste cause the sun was hot and I was at least 2 shades darker by just walking the short distance from road to sea.
