The shiva statue there is so peaceful, one of the best I have seen. Mondays are crowded generally in the morning and evening aarti time. Temple opens early... More

This is a fantastic place at Powai in Mumbai. This is a charitable trust dedicated to a mission of spreading Hindu religious values and tradition along with social work. Beautiful temple is there with a beautiful view of Powai. Book shop is also there selling nice books. Nice place to visit.

Its located in Mumbai but away from the hustle bustle and in the very calm location. The view of the lake is great as well. Its very modern Ashram with all the modern amenities like AC, WiFi etc.

Chinmaya Mission is situated on hill top near Hotel Renaissance in Powai. This place is an ashram dedicated to Hindu ethics and also a nice temple of Lord Shiva. You can get a beautiful view of Powai lake. Book shop is also there where you can get religious and spiritual literature. Nice place to visit.

It's absolutely fantastic. I had the good fortune of visiting this temple in the evening during the Arti. It is so much full of devotion and divinity. There's also the Chinmaya Mission book stall where you can find very good books. Certainly, a wonderful place.
