A beautiful temple with the trinity of 'Shakti' or 'Goddesses'. Kali, Lakshmi and Saraswati. Power, Wealth and Knowledge. Having even one less blessing results in either loss in power or loss in wealth or loss in knowledge to guide you. One complements the other. Presenting the lotus flower is significant as it is the favourite of this deity.

One of the most beautifully located religious place in Mumbai. Right on the sea-side next to Haji Ali. The view is breath-taking and satiates our religious urge. Very clean and well maintained. A must visit when in Mumbai.

This is very old and popular Mahalaxmi temple. You have to climb stairs so sometimes difficult for handicapped and old aged people. But religious place. Nice view from the top and behind this temple there small eatery and they serve delicious moong dal bhajiya. Very famous.

I enjoyed Mahalkshmi Temple visit and the see beyod. The Devis have 4 hands which came as a surprise to me. Be careful of chappals. You have a good sea view beyond the temple. It gets very crowded during Navratri festival. You can also visit Sadhubela, a Sindhi temple on the way.

It was a destiny to visit Mahlaskhmi mandir someday n i m happy that i went there. easily the best mandir of Mumbai. U have to walk around 200-300 mtrs to reach the mandir through the narrow lanes. as expected there was quite a rush the time i visited. But after seeing the goddess idols i was blessed and happy.

This temple is my favorite in Mumbai. It has lovely views of the sea and is big with several smaller temples in the complex. Very peaceful spot and most auspicious day to visit is Friday.
