Mahalaxmi Temple is situated near peddar road which is one of the costliest area in Mumbai. Temple is beautiful. This temple was built in 1831 by Dhakji Dadaji. Near this temple there is Haji Ali Dargah, race course. Must visit place for everyone.

The temple consists of mainly three Goddesses. Goddess Mahalaxmi, Goddess Mahakali, Goddess Mahasaraswati. There is good seating arrangement made outside the temple.

Mumbai or Bombay is known for its commerce and finances. Mahalakshmi or the Goddess of wealth is protecting and enhancing the prosperity of this city i.e. Swarna Nagri. On the rocky end of Arabian Sea, the temple is beautifully located. For any person, coming to Mumbai- it is in the must visit list of almost every family.

This is one of the temples in Mumbai, very busy. In terms of architecture it is not remarkable, if you are travelling to other locations in India you might see better, so you can skip this. This is very popular with the locals during festivals, so avoid as it is super cramped with people.

Situated at the end of the expensive warden road, this temple is easy to reach and visit. A good place to worship Lakshi devi.
