One of the oldest temples in Mumbai, it is located near the Chowpatty Beach. There is quite an uphill climb to the temple.

They also have a new elevator to take if walking stairs is a problem,two rupees.once on top take spiritual darshan with the shiva rock by pouring water over the top of it with two hands and repeating mantra of Om Namath Sivaya. Very powerful energy...More

i would recomment everyone to visit on monday as it is lord shivas day and you will get loads of ppl there on monday for darshan so b carefull abt pick pocket

Built in 1780 i suppose in 1900 a tall spire was added to this temple adding to the grandeur of this aesthetically built temple .People flock in quest to find peace and tranquility.

this is a religious place for Hindus ,and has some idols . a lift can be used by people unable to climb . once there ,after darshan sit and enjoy the ambiance .

It has a lot of stairs.. Lift for people who can't climb.. Popular but not super crowded .. Landmark place

This mandir is nice but as nice as most mandirs. It's unique in terms of where it is situated and having to climb all the stairs (though I believe there is an elevator) but once upstairs, it is pretty average.

Its a nice temple of Lord Shiva on small hill near Girgau chaupati. Unique thing about the temple is that there is a lift option available if you dont want to climb steps of the hill.
