It's a total waste of time and money . Not worthy of 1000 rs per person . All u get to see is some barren lands ,jungle , some studios from outside with banners of the shows and gokuldham society which is fully covered and a watchman having a terrible attitude as if he is sitting outside shahrukh khan bungalow. There is some entertainment like dance performance , songs , 7D rides but it's not worth the money u paid .

The price per ticket is too costly for the things u see.!!
Started off with the guided tour and the entire journey just lasted around 60 min..though the ticket says '2 hour tour ". They take u around lot of places where popular movie , serial , ad scenes have been shot in the past. Some are quite nostalgic..especially the temple which has always been a place where the hero goes for some divine intervention...remember..aaj khus to bohut honge tum..from deewar.
The final.destination is a real cafeteria where u take a15/20 min break for tea and snacks....this is also part of the "tour"
Overall a place u will like to visit only once

It’s a good tourist attraction but it’s little boring to watch shooting. There are too many repeat shots. But still you can see it once. You will see many serial characters

Hello,

I won't decide on your behalf, totally up to you, if you wish to visit or not. I visited on 31st Dec 2018 @ 3:00 pm tour. We were 5 of us including my parents, hoping they would relish the tour, well it remained just a hope. As per instructions on the ticket we went 30 mins early, but not to our surprise we waited 30 extra mins to board the bus. Then when the tour finally started we were shown some wooden structure, wow, it was a set, then we went to another one again some wooden structure, then the third again some wooden structure but this time with some banner of the serial and some decoration. I thought this is just an entry point, they would have some nice locations inside, but again some set of which only the wooden structure was viewable. Then there were some studios which we saw from outside and one temple where we could get down but cannot click or shoot and again some studios. Then we were taken to the famous Gokuldham society from the “Tarak Mheta ka Ulta Chasma”, the complete set is covered with tin sheets and green net cloth, we had to literally peep from the holes of tin to see and still could not see much but just the color of the wall, the tour ended after that. I still feel the amount of money I paid (600 x 5), could have been invested in some delightful place to have fun with the family. I did read the reviews but most of them read good, but my experience has some other opinion, hence the post.

Cheers

It seems that no more movies are being shot here. Only TV series are shot and that too you get to see warehouse like structures from outside. We got to see an outdoor shoot of one TV series with artificial rain. The positive part of this tour was the guide. He was an accomplished mimicry artist and entertained us well. We also got photographed with one character of a popular TV series. They give very small water bottle and smaller chips pack in the name of snacks served on bus. Bus was in good condition. All we enjoyed was due to the Guide, named Rangrez.

Guide only shows the sets from outside. All you get to see is big godown like structures, made of tin, inside which the shooting happens, that you actually can just dream of. Yup!! That's all. The tour is of 2 hours, that feels like eternity. Total waste of time and money.
