Went for an Investment Conference

This place has pin code 400001, the starting pin code of Mumbai. Went there for CFA Investment Conference, was bamboozled by the very fast elevators which are very different from the ones you find in India mostly.

When you explore the area & see how wonderful the buildings are, this is a very unimpressive building, except for it's height!

Tight Security

The building is a landmark with beautiful construction. Entry is restricted with tight security. Attended investors conference in a hall having good infrastucture. Roads are small and busy. Therefore, travel should be well planned.

Good building but cannot go inside

Good building but cannot go inside. The security concerns stop you from entering so you cannot really see what is happening inside

Beautiful landmark building of the town!

Bombay Stock Exchange is a beautiful old building which is an iconic landmark of Bombay! The white structure with a ticker going around it on Dalal Street is a classic! The stock exchange has a small beautiful bull at the entrance which signifies the bullish trend in this market! There is a great sense of achievement when you go to the well of the market - although there is hardly any activity there now. The Bombay Stock Exchange Hall is fun to visit as well - entry only upon invitation. Must visit when in Bombay!

being retail trader ,felt awesome to visit the dalal street.i was in goose bumps.street was empty and had very long and good look of the whole buliding from outside.It was on bucket list which got ticked off..every trader should atleast visit this street to have the feel

fantastic look and feel of the stock exchange roads and byelanes

the area leading to stock exchange also
is a sight for old art deco buildings ..jostling with udipi restaurants..road side chaas wallas with irani restaurants..new bistros stand cheek by jowl and old heritage structure like the Sasoon synagouge stand besides the now closed Rhythm house
you can walk through the lanes and byelanes capturing the curved arches of the art deco or sip some irani chai
with the buzz of activity ranging from punters and brokers shouting near the Bse as its called to hardware shops ..this place is a feast for eyes

This place is full of people and hope. You will get the best as well as the worst investment advise here. But the best thing about this place is that its a great leveller. There are small eateries around as well for a quick snack
