You can see the statue of Maharaja at the intersection of Victor Albert and Ashoka Road. Right near the Mysore Palace. If you picture the stature well you will have Palace in the backdrop. Lovely to take photo day time and even when its lit.

Close to Mysore palace. Must visit if you visit the palace during evening. Some good photo opportunities.

This statue stands in tribute to the Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar X of Mysore. He is known for his patronage of science, music and arts, with many buildings and educational institution having been created during his 30 something year reign. This statue stands under a pavilion in the middle of a busy roundabout where only the brave would even attempt to get close enough to get a close up look. The statue depicts the Maharaja in his royal regalia and with both his hands resting on a knife held on his belt. It looks okay.

Well kept statue in between a busy Mysore junction. Can be seen at day or night. Not particularly interesting for children but can be visited.
