Beautiful church but being renovated so couldn't go inside. Awesome nativity scene to the right of the church complete with a waterfall!

One of the tallest churches we have visited. Has a good open space and wasn't crowded even on a weekend. The church was under renovation when we visited. However, the outside view is equally soothing

This is an ancient church which is over 75 years old. This is also a must visit while in Mysore. The church is presently under renovation and the entry to church is restricted as they are under going a major work inside the church.

Great architecture but the structure is under renovation these days. Approach road is dirty. Don't buy anything fro nearby antique shops, they cheat.

Our visit was during the renovation period, hence the church was closed. The exterior was beautiful, including the chapel and grotto alongside.

St. Philomena's church is a beauty of architecture and the remodeling is well explained with signage in the front. Walk around back though and head into the basement area to see an idol effigy and many prayers written on the walls despite signs not to add them. What looks originally like graffiti is actually many touching prayers for family friends... More

The church's exterior was beautifully designed. The interiors are under renovation but the place is full of tourists any part of the day.
