A group of 7 ladies and I practiced with Badri for two weeks and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He is a humble, kind and patient teacher who never failed to show great enthusiasm every single day. He is also popular amongst the locals, as everyday the class was full of local practitioners and very few foreigners, which... More

I spent 2 weeks in Mysore to deepen my practice of Ashtanga yoga. There were many schools in Mysore but Badri was by far the best. He is very hands on and can teach at any level - first timers to advanced. The school does not look like much but it is all you need. He is incredibly accommodating, patient... More

I spent 2 weeks training ashtanga Mysore style at Badri yoga school and I loved every minute of it. Despite the physically tough training and never having practiced ashtanga Mysore style before I felt I made so much progression in the time I was practicing yoga and Badri knew exactly what I was capable of and what small adjustments needed... If you're looking to improve your yoga practice with a truly experienced teacher then look no further than Badri. After practicing for one week I already saw an improvement and I really enjoyed the class style. Badri is an excellent teacher and went out of his way to teach me, even giving me an extra lesson on his day off.... More

Badri is a great teacher for those who want to develop their practice at any level; the approach is relaxed and patient, with a good amount of assistance and attention per student. I would highly recommend for anyone who'd like to deepen their practice in a more low key and relaxed environment than elsewhere in Mysore. Thank you Badri, I... More

I had actually flown out to practice under Badri's guidance after my yoga teacher in Abu Dhabi recommended him to me. I was slightly nervous at first and wasn't sure what to expect but was greeted with open arms by Badri who made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. Badri is an incredible teacher and I can... Visited Badri Yoga School last month with my wife. We had a 2 week stay in Mysore and wanted to practice yoga everyday. It was our first Ashtanga Vinyasa experience and I can say we really enjoyed our time with Mr Badri. He is extremely friendly and has no problem taking on students of all levels. The class sizes are... More

BadriJi's classes are very different from other classes in Mysore. It's not just a group of experienced foreigners practicing. In his afternoon class u find more indians; ladies, children and experienced yogis. It creates a very different atmosphere, which makes it easy and interesting to practice. He is a very kind and warm person. Coming to his class creates a... More

At 500 rupees per session, I would expect a better quality lesson. I was taught by the assistant who, though very friendly, didn't give me any useful tips to improve my yoga. Additionally, I was pulled and pushed into positions which were outside my comfort zone and, subsequently, have developed back pain as a result. Also, I was told not... More
