The place really is a treat for art and musical instruments lovers. All the musical instruments in the universe along with the wax statues of the music players can be seen at one place. The place is well maintained. The staff working there is very enthusiastic. One must visit this place during Mysore trip.

Melody Wax museum is not too far away from city center. It is around 8 kms away from City Bus stand. It is close to the Zoo. Place is good. There is a Wax museum and also a Horror hall as well. You need to buy separate tickets for the Wax museum as well as the Horror museum. If you... More

It's not really wax statues and really not worth the money or time. U can safely skip this one. In addition, nothing innovative or unique.

Museum is showcasing a collection of over hundred life size wax statues and over three hundred instruments, all related to music. Museum opens everyday from 9.30 am to 7.00 pm. Entry fee is INR 30 and a fee of INR 10 has to be paid for a still camera. It is good looking place for elders and children. Several old... More

The place is loaded with many theme based wax statues. The main theme of the place is based on music. Apart from the wax statues, the places houses a large collection of music instruments that I have personally not seen anywhere till date. This was a pleasant experience. While you move around in the museum there are volunteers readily available... More

We employed a guide in Mysore who took us to the wax museum. We were skeptical about going there, but thoroughly enjoyed it. We really were fascinated with all of the musical instruments. They are what made the museum special.

The place is best avoided if you are on a packed schedule. The wax museum is flooded with dust and there are no prominent celebrities around.

Its a great combination of wax statues & musical instruments. Lot of thought gone behind various set / groups, based on the musical instruments - African, Arabian, Orchestra etc. Also on display are some old radios, telephones.....

Depicts various cultural / sculptures made up of wax. Not worthy to visit is you are not in a leisurely mood. Time to spend would be approx. 30minutes.

A sincere attempt by a private individual to copy Madame Tussaud wax museum at Mysore. Some of the pieces are very good. Due to shortage of space and poor lighting, the display quality is poor thereby robbing the hard work of its attraction.
