We went here in end of April 2016 and while it was peak summer, still on top of the hill it didnt feel so.. Do note that the only way of going to the top is through a Government bus that takes you up there, so we need to rely on that mode of transport. Temple has great views of... More

Either go by road or trek to it (if you have the guts for it!), it's a beautiful hillock temple surrounded by vast views of jungle. The only gripe for me is the bad road condition up the famous temple. The reward is a unique little temple with chalk-white Lord Ganapati and a nice picnic.

We had visited this place very long back when the private vehicles were being allowed to be driven up-to the temple. The Roads were very very badly maintained, and it was very difficult to go up to temple. But i heard recently the government has banned private vehicles which is a good move. The temple will be covered with Fog even... More

As the name goes there is lot of mist on the top of the hill and also the temple, lot of grass and good view of the Western Ghats. It belongs to the Forest department and they do not allow vehicles to go there, you have to go in the transportation provided by them also it is a nice place... More

Was intrigued to visit this krishna temple as legend has it that you will be amidst the clouds through out the year, in cool salubrious climate. Great views for miles all around one can see the thick forests where once the infamous veerappan roamed free and plundered at will. Temple and idol of lord krishna is fascinating and the priest... Great place, you can spot elephants on the way to the hill. Nice temple. earlier you could treck in the forest behind the temple. We have spotted elephants and dear. Now the place is fenced and not allowed to enter the forest.
