a must visit a short drive from mysuru. A brief listen in History. the small town was the birth place of Tipu sultan, also could visit the grave and summer palace of tipu sultan

Really I've a greatest belief that Indian architecture is best among the world and here it got another proof. Situated on the banks of river Cauvery with well built towers and Lord Ranganathan gives us eyefull Darshan in Aanandha Sayana posture. Amazing architecture of the temple and what a lovely dharshan we had of Ranganatha Swamy . You forget everything after having his anantha sayana dharshan.

1. Good Temple 2. Option to go with ticket / free 3. Can be crowded so better take ticket option which is very nominal cost

This temple is believed to be the first temple lying on the banks for the river Cauvery River called Adi Ranga. The god here is lying down on the bed coiled by snake and looks majestic and elegant. Must visit place.

Even after many many visits, this charming little island town draws me. It's Cauvery charming surroundings, historic Tipu places, elegant Ranganatha temple and very convenient location all add up to must visit place for anyone!
