There is a short hike from Boleuganj to Kamna devi temple. It is a nice place if you want to go for picnic with friends. The temple is beautiful and is located on the hill top. There are no shops near the temple so if you want you can take snacks from Boleuganj which is like five to seven minutes walk from the temple. Beware of monkeys... A short tip!!

This is a little known small and beautiful temple near Shimla located at a hilltop. The road is elevated and requires skilful driver. The place is very relaxing and a visit is totally recommended.

Located a short walk from.the Boileuganj (local name Balooganj) junction .Small cars can reach almost to the top Last 50 yard is a very steep footpath Such a peaceful and serene place such that even if you are not into meditation the peace and calm engulfs you and gives a feeling of inner joy and contentment
Not very crowded at all though the locals say it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons We visited in the morning around 10 am and were the only ones there for a good 15 min
Take your camera with you The view is good and you could find some nice photo opportunities
Avoid carrrying foodstuff There are a lot of monkeys on the path Harmless as long as you don't ask for trouble
Must talk to.the temple.priest He is a fund of local lore as his family has been running the place for the last six generations
A must visit if you are in Shimla Take a taxi to Balooganj junction and walk up or try to take the cab further up the path till as far as you can and walk the restof the distance
