One of the best maintained temples in Delhi
Dec 2019
If you are looking for a temple where you can be spiritually uplifted or spend time meditating without being disturbed by cacophony, then this is the temple. Meticulously clean and well maintained the serene and quite atmosphere is quite uplifting. Every Sunday on prior booking you can have the temple lunch or prasad.

Spectacular
Jan 2019 • Couples
This is such a beautiful building with so much symbolism. The Hindu temple is very modern, but no less traditional for all of that. The atmosphere is one of total serenity. Even if you do not visit the inside, you can really appreciate the architecture from the road side.

It's a temple of Jagannath and is worshipped as Vishnu or Narayana or Krishna and Lord Balabhadra as Shesha. Located opposite of the Deer Park just few meters before the Hauz Khas Village Entrance. Very peaceful & this place has an altogether a different vibe which everyone would love it.

We walked to this temple from Hauz Kaus village where we were staying. It is beautiful to see, the paintings are so pretty. No fee to get in, even for foreigners. If you are in the area, you should stop by & see this temple & walk over to Hauz Kaus fort which is amazing.

Beautiful temple in a good location
Oct 2017 • Friends
The location is one major plus point here as it is very well connected (almost walking distance from Houz Khas metro station), yet peaceful. The temple is beautiful and premises are cleanly maintained. There are several facilities like halls for small gatherings, rooms for accommodation, prasad at very reasonable price which can be good wholesome meal if one likes the cuisine. They first serve meal to deities, perform arati and then serve the prasad. The temple attracts a lot of people mostly from odiya community.

Great place for a religious hangout for Odia community in Delhi NCR
May 2017 • Family
It may not be as huge and grand like other grand temples in Delhi, but for the Odia community in Delhi Shri Jagannath Temple is the best place for regular religious / family hangout. The temple is decent, all white and in a peaceful location. In fact there is a small wood behind the temple where you hear peacocks calling in the evening.
The idol of the deities are also impressive, though not very large in size. What there in size after all when Lord is considered.
Another big plus is the food and stay facilities at Jagannath Mandir. Prasad is served on a donation on 70 rs at lunch and dinner time. If you have a taste for Odia cusine then try this, you may still love it otherwise.

A GREAT SPIRITUAL EDIFICE
Oct 2016 • Couples
Visting this famous Hindu shrine in Delhi is really so rejoicing and blissful.Situated in the Hauz Khas Village the temple was glowing in the night with beautiful lighting under the sky.The idols of Lord Jagannath,Balabhadra and Subhadra are worshipped here in the sanctom sanctorium. The precincts of the temple is resplendant with white marble floors. The upkeep of the temple is so neat.In side the precincts, other Gods like Ganapati,Shiva and Durga are worshipped. The temple also serves Prasad(Lunch) in the noon till 2.30 pm at a cost of Rs.75/- which is so delicious.I really felt peace at this serene shrine.
