This was great fun and informative too - a great end to our VJV tour. Anchal has made a successful business out of traditional skills. Despite our initial reticence she got the whole group engaged in making curries and breads, and we learned lots of tips to put into practice at home, supported by a large number of recipes which were emailed to us afterwards. The basis of a book, maybe. If you’re in Delhi and have an evening to spare, do this - you won’t regret it! A real highlight to be savoured in every sense.

This is the best cooking class offered in Delhi for sure. Fantastic setting and kitchen set-up (very colourful and comfortable). Anchal and her staff go above and beyond to make the experience fan and informative. The recipes are all traditional and absolutely delicious. I've done online classes with Taste Sutra as well as in-person and I loved both experiences. I'll be back!

recently had the pleasure of celebrating diwali hosted by tastesutra in a beautiful home in the suburbs of new delhi. alongside several other guests we decorated the house with rangoli, enjoyed an incredible puja ritual, and ate some fantastic food. Anchal was a truly incredible host and would recommend her and tastesutra to anyone visiting delhi

Anchal was the perfect host - warm and welcoming as if she saw us as not just students, but family members. Her cooking studio is perfectly designed for demonstrations and her delivery of information and instruction was clear, articulate and captivating. We enjoyed our time there so thoroughly we even considered repeating the course! Sending additional recipes and photos after the event concluded was unexpected but very appreciated.

I booked "Celebrate Diwali with a local family" in Delhi which took place at the home of the owner of Tastesutra. The celebration itself lasted for 3-4 hours. About 15 people booked that event and we got to join the family in doing the final decorations for Diwali, the praying rituals and afterwards eating dinner with them. All in all a great experience and highly recommended!

Everything was great, from preparation, explanations, being fully hands-on, and of course the food. The two women running it are vey kind and knowledgeable and explain every step clearly to permit easy replication. Highly recommended regardless if during tourist stay or after months of eating Indian food.

From the explanation of the spices and Indian cuisine, to the making of the food and eating, everything was perfect! It tasted really good, even better than in many restaurants! The process of making food was enjoyable, especially that we made everything from scratch. Most importantly: it is easy to replicate at home! Sonal did an incredible job showing how to prepare homestyle cooked Indian Food. The best I ever tasted, and it was even better since I prepared ithe multiple courses on my own. In fact, I am home a week later and am already going to try two of the recipes this week.

The Holi Celebration with Tastesutra was the highlight of my trip to India! We had so much fun, learned so much about Indian culture, and worked off our lunch with some fabulous dancing. Highly recommend this if you are in Delhi during Holi!
