I stayed for three nights in this area at the beginning and end of my trip to India. It has plenty of energy and lots of hustle and bustle
It's very lived in and local but has some decent bars, restaurants and boutique hotels.
Close enough to some of Delhi's sights and it has its subway station.
It has a safe vibe if you don't count the crazy traffic.

Me and my daughter went and we got harassed by so many men asking us to buy things and trying to help us as they said we are lost but we wasn’t!
You need to dress like a local so you do not get harassed.
It was a horrible experience and never going again,
Try Nexus Select City walk if you like a mall experience and nice food x

The famous Ajmal Khan Road is in this well known part Delhi. More pleasant and less maddening than Chandni Chowkh. The street is lined with shops selling clothes, electrical good, household goods, and plenty more. It is not crowded so you can enjoy the walk and meander onto the side streets. Lots of options for street food if that is what takes your fancy.

The market has meena bazaar, branded shops and mall alike. You get all types of stuff here including branded and non branded. There are lots of street vendors so you can put your bargaining skills to a test. I would suggest to take precautions as the market is crowded and you could be a victim of petty thefts.

Karol Bagh is reputed for its fabulous shopping and Ajmal Khan Road is my favourite. You get everything you need and you also have great deals. For instance at the far end of the road you can purchase good quality luggage at affordable price ! Apart from variety of shops you can also enjoy a nice meal and there is no choice problem as multi cuisines are available. Furthermore you can enjoy lassis or even coconut water not to forget refreshing lime sodas!

Hi there, i was looking for a car accessories market around me.
Then I found Karol Bagh market.
I went to the place through metro.
So I got confused because it was a huge market but for clothes not for car accessories.then I ask to one person there. He taught me the path towards the car market.then I found the same market which is not so far from metro also.
And the accessories price were very reasonable.
But before going there you must have a list of things you want to buy.
Otherwise you will end buying lots of unnecessary things but just seeing them in that beautiful version of them.
So in and all,I just want to say,if you are willing to buy some reasonable car stuff you must visit this market one's.
You will surely love the market and the price.

My friend has come to the city to shop for her daughter’s wedding .The first thing on her agenda is to buy gifts for relatives and friends. After making enquiries, we are on our way to the “TIP TOP” Shopping Market near the Karol Bagh market in Delhi. Google Map saves the day and we get off at a crowded lane close to the main Karol Bagh Shopping Market. It seems a very busy shopping market with a constant stream of shoppers in and out of shops. The din and the clatter of vehicles add to the hustle bustle.

The Tip Top Shopping Market is a small closed market in this busy lane. It is not air-conditioned and it is quite hot inside.

At first glance, we see shops to the left, right and center filled with crockery and home accessories. The adjacent building is also a part of this market and there are shops in the basement level, we are told. We walk around and start to explore. We see porcelain and glass articles all around. There are vases, decorative flowers and figurines, serving platters and dinner sets in porcelain. The selection is extensive; 12-piece dinner sets 18 piece sets, 36 piece sets and so on. There are white porcelain sets with very beautiful and delicate designs. There is also a great collection of goblets and wine glasses and whisky glasses that are neatly stacked up ,in almost every shop. Look around before you make your choice. You will need at least a couple of hours if you are buying glasses and dinner plates for your home.

Other items on display are ;-

a) German/Italian silverware – bowls, trays and serving platters are all available in amazing designs. They make for excellent gifts. They have great utilitarian value and look like real silver. They are available in the range of Rs1000 to Rs1500/ piece.

b) Wooden artifacts – These comprise of trays, wine holders, toy bikes, nameplates & serving platters. They are all imported from Thailand.

c) Teapots and cups from China– looking at the display, you may want to pick up more than one piece.

d) Tablemats and table runners– they are all imported and cost Rs 400 for a set of 6 . Dining table covers are in the range of Rs 750 to Rs 1000 / piece .

e) There are shining & stylish lampshades of various sizes, shapes and colours.

f) Artificial flowers like lilies and roses that almost look like real flowers and

g) other interesting items such as leather sitting stools with innovative designs.

Shoppers typically visit this Delhi shopping market during festivals and the marriage season and when they have to shop for gift items in bulk. Since this is a wholesale market, the prices are very reasonable. Diwali is the busiest season of the year.

This wholesale market imports 80 per cent of the products on sale from China, Korea and Taiwan. These are then supplied across various Indian States .

So, no more fretting about shopping for gifts in Delhi. The TIP TOP Shopping Market is a destination you now know.
